As always, you come through again!
I will post this to the list and Thanx

Malik,
I have had problems positing to the List for the past several months. I have talked to Rich Peacock (administrator) about it, without resolution - most likely firewall on my end. I do read the Digest and, hence, your posting and all that followed.
I run dual Walbros, one low pressure and one high pressure.
Contrary to popular belief, each Walbro, as well as the stock N-D fuel pump has a built-in check valve. If you don't believe it, have a check valve fail and see how long it takes your car to start by having the pump fill an empty fuel line, filter, etc. The question is, will the built-in check valve resist the full pressure of a Wallbro if flow is reversed against the dead Walbro or stock fuel pump - I believe it will, since the check valve is a ball and spring arrangement with the ball seating if closed.
I purchased another stock steel 6mm fuel line and filter. just a matter of mounting the filter (adjacent to the existing filter), plenty of room within the existing carrier from filter to engine bay, used one original line and filter (replaced the existing filter) for one pump, the new line and filter for the new pump, and retained the single common return. I merged the two supply lines at a "Y-block" on the firewall of the engine compartment, and ran a larger line (8mm, IIRC) from the Y-block to the fuel rail, removing the FPD (Fuel Pressure Dampener). The hardest part was modifying (enlarging) the entry flange of the fuel tank - it did not work for me to fit two pumps on the existing fuel pump bracket and fit it into the tank. As you will learn, you need to drop the tank to remove the existing fuel pump bracket from the tank and install the new assembly.
As to wiring, I used the low voltage circuit to run the low pressure Walbro and the "switch-over" circuit to trigger a relay to operate both pumps at full voltage; and, of course, increased the wiring gage to the pumps (I forgot what gage).
One of the better write-ups, including wiring diagram, is at http://www.stealth316.com/2-fuelpumpguide.htm; the existing circuitry for the 3000GT/Stealth is very similar to our own.
If you choose, you may post this to the List.
I hope this helps.
