[Supras] Fan clutch question

I rebuilt mine last month. I drained the oil and flushed using DiAqua Silicone oil stripper.
Hydrocarbon based cleaners will not work on Silicon oil, don't waste your time. An alternative is
to just hang the clutch up by a wire and have it drain into a pan. After a day most of it should
be out.

Initially, I was told to use 3 Toyota tubes of Silicone oil (3x18mL=54mL). Afterwards, my fan ran
all the time... it sounded like an 18 wheeler and the fan belt would start shrieking above 4000
rpm. I figured I had overfilled it, so I pulled it apart and removed about 18mL worth of oil, and
now it works properly. So, for me two tubes seemed to about right, but most people said I needed
three, including Jeff Watson at Champion Toyota. Maybe I just didn't get all the old oil out when
I flushed it since I did it rather quickly.
With regards to the big o-ring, it seems to be too large on everyone's clutch. For me, with the
clutch flat on the table, I was able to gently push it down into the slot using four hands (with
the help of my 6 year old assistant :-) and it stayed there. I then plopped the top piece on and
was good to go. The screws are tightened to 6ft-lbs.
I have no info on the internal screws, as mine were not loose. I suggest you buy a used clutch on
one of the forums or on Ebay, and use the parts from that to make one good one.
