[Supras] Fan clutch question

I just pulled my fan clutch - it was completely locked up - wouldn't spin free. When I opened it I found 1 of the screws that are in the inside had come lose - the ones on the side of the housing with the gear - and was lodged between the two plates. The silicon was black also. Turns out that two of the three screws are striped - the third on is OK. I took the good screw and screwed into the other two holes and it tightened down fine - which leads me to believe that the threads in the housing are OK and all I need is to replace the screws.
Anyone know what size?
Can I soak the housing in gas to get all of the old silicon out? Tried brake cleaner but there's still a lot left.
When re-assembling - how do you know how much silicon to put in - when is it "full"?
Thanks
JP
