Hmm...I'd be betting on more of a leak than burning it, unless the OP
actually sees blue smoke from the tailpipe.
There are a lot of sources of leaks on this car, but the biggest ones are
the oil pan bolts working loose (common an ALL Toyotas!)
and the oil pressure sending unit. The problem with these two leaks is that
they are not apparant, ie, no or very little staining on parking spaces, but
they manifest themselves at operating pressures. Check the underside of the
car and see if it's getting an 'oil coating'.
