[Supras] starting issues

Carb Cleaner doesn't ignite well... In fact, the last time I used it on a
throttle body the car took forever to restart.

We always kept a can of starting fluid around to diagnosis non fuel starting
problems.

Does the Toyota have a roll over switch that could have been activated by
the collision? Fords do this a lot....

well i tried what you guy suggested, we are getting close. i'm getting spark
at the coil and the dist and in the cylinders. i spray carb cleaner in the
t/b and no go. Car was in front end accident and stopped running at that
point.
you guys game me some good pointers. I have check the 2 drivers side pistons
and they are getting pulse sparks so the dist is moving. At this point i'm
thinking the timing bet didnt break but stretched or skipped teeth because
it wont start.
Another question folks, does the check engine diagnostic proceedure to
tirgger codes by shorting terminals...are the trmainal the same on 91 celica
as it is on 91 supra?
would a check engine casue starting problem if i'm providing fuel.
My thoughts are no...
anyone?
