[Supras] 91 celica (5h gen) 5sfe starting issues?

Timing belt?
If the belt breaks on this, it is a non-interference engine, so you won't
hear any funky noises, but it won't
start, either!

I'm not real familiar with this engine, since it is an SF-E series, it
probably has electronic ignition
with no moving parts. On the older models with a distributor, you can remove
the distributor cap, crank the engine
and watch the rotor. If it don't spin, you have a broken belt!

On the newer engines, the only ways I know of to tell is to look down the
oil filler neck and see if you can see the camshaft
turn; some engines you can, some you can't. If not, you'll have to remove
the timing belt cover and look!
You may not have to crank the engine; sometimes it is apparent from the
condition of the belt that that's what the problem is!

Good luck!
