[Supras] Possible... or not?

You don't seem to say if you helicoiled the head yet. I'd be wary if you
have an exhaust leak at the manifold - head interface. HOPEFULLY it's just
a blown gasket, but as I and a lot of ppl on here will attest to, the leak
occurs when the studs into the head start to strip and pull out, and
tightening only works for a while until they pull out further.
If you're taking off the manifold, might be a good idea, if time consuming
and a b*tch to do in the car, to helicoil at least the studs at the back of
the engine (which seem to be most prone to failure).
As for the oil return? Yeah, easy enough ... Break your arm in two places
so you can wind it around all the crap and actually use a socket on those
fittings!! I used a swivel and a mirror to see what I was doing.
Good luck.

That may not be necassary. I wet out to my car last night and messed with
it. Drove it around the block. It was making this high pitched clicking
noise in the engine compartment. On the way home from the test drive it
acted as if it coughed and it freed up itself. The high pitched clicking
noise went away. I have a exhaust leak where at the manifold to the block.
Its annoying and it seems to be decreasing my power...ALOT. I might need to
buy a good manifold off of one of you guys in the next month or so. The
truth is... I'm fealing really lazy about taking the turbo and everything
off... My downpipe is a bitch to hook up cuz its so tightly in there. And...
is there an easy way to get to the nuts for the oil return at the turbo? I
have been going from the top and some how bending my arm in an awkward and
painful way.
